THE BRAMPTON CAPITALS MINOR HOCKEY YOUTH
PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Last year the Capitals implemented a program that recognized a Brampton Minor Youth Hockey Player at several of their home games.

The program was very successful and acknowledged the excellent efforts of 12 young aspiring hockey players. Any youth hockey team in Brampton has the opportunity to nominate a player to be recognized at each Capitals home game.

The criteria for nominating a Player is fairly simple and follows the philosphy of the Capitals Management and Coaching staff. The individual should be a team player, who thinks of his teammates first, who plays for the crest on the front of their jersey and not for the name on the back, should work hard both on and off the ice and someone who put their best effort forward each time they step on the ice. They should have good listening skills and a willingness to get better. All skill levels are acceptable.
